I created Devil’s Pie two years ago at Namu Bar in San Francisco, with a vision of a monthly soul party for the community to vibe and enjoy feel-good soul music together without the pressures to dance or maintain a “cool.” Really, I just wanted a place where I could play the music that I wanted to play. Thank you to everyone who has helped make Devil’s Pie the party that it is: my DP family, all the guest djs, all the party people, all the people who downloaded the mixes, Namu Bar, Verdugo Bar, etc etc.

The Attik House is the house in East Oakland where, at one point, all the members of The Attik (one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time that you’ll never know about) lived. The place is genuinely haunted. Perfect place for a Halloween party.
