Form Follow Function & KCET Present:
Traces No. 2: Union
TRACES explores the history of places through stories told by the people who were there. It takes a deeper look into places in Los Angeles, exploring the stories of what they were then to what they are now.
The latest episode, Union, gives a glimpse into the Union Center For The Arts in Little Tokyo. Formerly a Japanese American Church built in 1922 and now the home to East West Players, ArtCore, Visual Communications, & Tuesday Night Cafe’s open mics, the Union Center For The Arts has served as a spiritual & artistic sanctuary for many generations.
Directed by Maya Santos and Joel Quizon
Edited by Maya Santos
Sound and Original Score by Rani de Leon
